چکیده
The bearing capacity of CFA (Continuous Flight Auger) pile is not able to reach the design if proper construction performed due soil collapse at bottom pile. In this paper, three samples were prepared simulate pile: grouting sample; mixture and gravel; sand. failure surfaces each sample obtained by a uniaxial compression tests represented as three-dimensional point cloud laser scanning. Therefore, high resolution clouds can be samples. surface was analyzed plane points histogram (P2PH) method roughness detection kernel proposed in paper. These methods analyze global well local dimensions. features sample, mixed sand, gravel distinguished sections where are predominantly distributed method.

Three dimensional knot models based on surface laser scanning
Most machine strength grading methods of today result in limited grading accuracy and poor yield in higher strength classes. A new and more accurate grading method utilizing laser scanning technique to determine the in-plane fibre directions on board surfaces was recently approved for the European market. In this, however, no consideration is taken to the out-of-plane direction of the fibres. A...
متن کاملAnalysis of Gravel River Beds using Three-Dimensional Laser Scanning
The size and shape of the stones in dry gravel river beds are of interest in geology and river hydraulics. The topography of a bed surface can be measured by three-dimensional laser scanning. A method is described for fitting ellipsoids to the surfaces of individual stones to estimate their size, shape and orientation in the river bed. Different cost functions are evaluated and the methods are ...
متن کاملFood surface texture measurement using reflective confocal laser scanning microscopy.
Confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) was used in the reflection mode to characterize the surface texture (roughness) of sliced food surfaces. Sandpapers with grit size between 150 and 600 were used as height references to standardize the CLSM hardware settings. Sandpaper particle sizes were verified by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The mean amplitude (in micrometers) of surface varia...
متن کاملUnderwater 3D Surface Measurement Using Fringe Projection Based Scanning Devices
In this work we show the principle of optical 3D surface measurements based on the fringe projection technique for underwater applications. The challenges of underwater use of this technique are shown and discussed in comparison with the classical application. We describe an extended camera model which takes refraction effects into account as well as a proposal of an effective, low-effort calib...
متن کاملApplying Terrestrial Laser Scanning for Soil Surface Roughness Assessment
Terrestrial laser scanning can provide high-resolution, two-dimensional sampling of soil surface roughness. While previous studies demonstrated the usefulness of these roughness measurements in geophysical applications, questions about the number of required scans and their resolution were not investigated thoroughly. Here, we suggest a method to generate digital elevation models, while preserv...
